Eddie the Eagle is the title of the British film-United States sports comedy genre directed by Dexter Fletcher and produced by Matthew Vaughn, Adam Bohling, David Reid, Rupert Maconick, and Valerie Van Galder. The film stars Taron Egerton as Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards, a British skier who in 1988 became the main competitor in conflict with Great Britain in ski championships.
